Ashurst adds Vinge partner to Stockholm team

Ashurst’s Swedish arm has netted a Vinge partner for its corporate practice.
Jan Byström’s arrival brings Ashurst’s Stockholm partnership to seven.
Byström joined Vinge as a partner in 2004 and was previously an associate at both Davis Polk & Wardwell and Hunton & Williams in New York. He will focus on private equity and M&A at Ashurst.
The news follows Roschier’s three-partner raid on Vinge in July this year (6 July 2011).
In April last year Ashurst recruited senior partner Martin Börresen from Linklaters’ Stockholm office (1 April 2010).
