Ashfords lures maritime specialist
Ashfords has a new head of maritime following the hire of Charles Hattersley from Plymouth-based rival Foot Anstey. Hattersley joins the firm as partner in the Plymouth office. He is accompanied by marine assistant Ashley Axten, who will be based at the firm's Bristol office. Hattersley spent 15 years in the Submarine Service before qualifying as asolicitor in 1987, and has since specialised in shipbuilding, casualty, mortgage and finance.
