Ashfords has kick-started a recruitment campaign with four new partners as it aims to become the biggest firm in the South West.
Ashfords chief executive Ian Daniells said he aims to grow the firm's turnover from £23m to £50m within five years to overtake Osborne Clarke as the largest South West firm.
"We're actively looking for more senior partners," he said. "We're growing fast and this is certainly only the beginning. I'm determined that we'll become the biggest firm in the South West."
Three partners have joined the firm's Exeter office: trusts and estates partner Michael Alden joins from Shoosmiths; company and commercial partner Karl Taylor joins from Wollastons; and PFI and projects partner Mark Jury is arriving from Norton Rose.
Construction partner Eric Livingstone, meanwhile, joins the Bristol office from Osborne Clarke. He will head the firm's construction practice.
Ashfords has also recruited two associates in Bristol, Iain Bray from Bevan Britton and Will Hull from Blake Lapthorn Tarlo Lyons.
