ASB Law profits from marriage

ASB was created through the merger of Argles & Court, Stoneham and Burstows. The firm has since merged with London niche firm Keene Marsland and has 43 partners.
Chief executive Christopher Honeyman Brown said that the turnover figure represented an increase of more than 10 per cent on the sum of the three firms' turnovers for 1999-2000. "It's extremely satisfying and demonstrates the solid start that the new firm has made," he said.
"Profits per partner are ahead but inevitably reflect the post-merger costs of integration. Plans for the current year show the marked improvement in profitability that we would expect from being a leading regional firm."
