  • Poor management is the result of redundancies and in light of recent US stringen securities laws, offshore jurisdictions are falling apart.

  • Regarding Appleby, the two lawyers officially made redundant is the tip of the iceberg. I understand that the Bermuda office has declined to renew the contracts of approximately 12 lawyers whose contracts were coming to an end. This includes a number of strong performers (billers).
