Allen & Overy is to relocate London infrastructure partner Andrew Fraiser to its New York practice.
The firm said the move, due to take place in early November, marks significant investment into its New York office.
Global head of projects, energy and infrastructure Anne Baldock said: “We’ve quickly established ourselves as one of the go-to firms in the North America PPP space and believe there’s an opportunity for us to become the clear market leader.
“Andrew’s move is a significant part of our strategy towards achieving that ambition.”
Last year the firm moved into the US infrastructure market through the hire of David Horner. Horner was formerly deputy assistant secretary for policy at the US department of transportation and chief counsel of the federal transit administration.
