Allen & Overy's (A&O) Paris office has recruited a high-profile French capital markets and corporate partner.
Jean-Yves Martin joins from French firm Klein Goddard Associés, where he advised on capital markets law, corporate law and public takeovers.
Martin will be the fourteenth partner in the Paris office, which has tripled in size over the last three years. His role will be to develop the equity capital market practice.
The three main practice areas in A&O's Paris office are corporate, capital markets and banking. European regional managing partner Stephen Denyer says the firm plans to expand all three areas at a similar rate.
A&O clients in Paris include the majority of French banks as well as a number of international investment banks.
