This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
UK-BASED international practice Allen & Overy has appointed three new partners in its Hong Kong office.
Kenneth Chan, Michael Liu and Joseph Tse will officially take on the title on 3 January next year. Company and commercial lawyer Eric Ho will also join the firm as a senior associate.
Chan, who has experience in advising corporate entities and banks doing business in China is currently working as a consultant in the firm's China practice, while Liu, Tse and Ho are new recruits from Hong Kong firms.
The appointments bring partner levels in the Hong Kong office to 12.
Allen & Overy's worldwide senior partner Bill Tudor John says the developments "reflect the increasing importance to us of Chinese work and Hong Kong-based corporate finance, banking and securities work".
