Young solicitors and barristers are being offered the chance to meet their counterparts in Holland this May during the 2008 Anglo-Dutch Young Lawyers Exchange.
The event, which has been taking place for more than 40 years, will allow junior lawyers to visit Dutch professionals in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague to learn more about the countrys legal system and culture.
The exchange is run by the London Young Lawyers Group (LYLG), the Young Barristers Committee (YBC) and the Junior Lawyers Division of the Law Society, and is open to solicitors with under five years PQE as well as all barristers under 10 years call.
YBC chairman Julia Beer said: It is an extremely enjoyable event and enables young barristers not only to make contacts with lawyers from the Netherlands but also to enhance their understanding of the Dutch legal system and cultural environment.
The event takes places every two years alternating between the UK and the Netherlands, with participating lawyers hosting guests in their own homes.
