An Osborne Clarke partner and a former Ross & Craig partner have joined forces to set up their own Anglo-Danish firm in London
The firm Orr & Rosenfalck launched itself as a limited liability partnership (LLP) last week. Orr & Rosenfalck was set up by Steen Rosenfalck, a Danish and UK-qualified lawyer who left Osborne Clarke in the spring, having assisted in setting up the firm's Anglo-Danish department, and Patrick Orr, a UK-qualified lawyer, who until last Friday was a partner in the corporate department at Ross & Craig. The firm will provide advice on both English and Danish law.
"We want a UK firm for a fuller range of services, including commercial property and litigation" Steen Rosenfalck, Orr & Rosenfalck
The LLP has clients both in the UK and in Denmark, where it acts for some major IT companies. However, it will concentrate on the small to medium-sized enterprise market. "We intend to team up with a firm in the UK to provide a fuller range of services, including commercial property and litigation advice," commented Rosenfalck. "And we'll be opening an office in Denmark imminently. "We're also intending to expand here in the UK by taking on UK, Swedish and Norwegian-qualified lawyers."
