Andersen Legal associated firms in Italy, Poland and Belgium have boosted their international network with a string of lateral hires.
Structured finance specialist Corrado Verna and intellectual property (IP) and e-business specialist Stefano Beghi have joined combined tax and legal practice Studio di Consulenza Legale e Tributaria in Italy.
Both bring teams of three lawyers with them and increase the firm's partner count to eight.

Beghi joins the Padua office from Ernst & Young's network member Studio Associato Legale Tributario. He makes the move with tax consultant Umberto Zagarese.
Managing partner Francesco Marotta says: "Of course IT is an expanding area around the world and we could see some big developments in project finance in Italy in the coming year."
He adds: "It's very important to have a good department of public lawyers together with M&A specialists, because every privatisation procedure involves both." The firm is currently advising Consip, the company set up by the Italian treasury to reorganise the public tender process.
Andersen Legal's Polish member Domanski Zakrzewski Palinka has gained a new head of real estate in the hiring spree. Lech Zyzylewski, a corporate and real estate specialist, joins from PricewaterhouseCoopers' firm, K Wierzbowski D Szubielska i Wspolnicy.
