Tulkinghorn would like to raise a glass to those talented lawyers at Mishcon de Reya. The firm represents two winners of this year's Brit Awards, Fatboy Slim and A1. Fatboy is the nice one married to Zoe Ball who used to be in The Housemartins before he got into car alarm music. Tulkinghorn doesn't have the foggiest idea what A1 is although he is reliably informed by his teenage "companion" that "it" is a boyband.
Unfortunately, another client, Craig David, was nominated for Best British Male Solo Artist, Best British Album, Best British Dance Act, Best British Newcomer, Best British Video and Best British Single but did not go home with a single gong.
