…and makes 18 new partner promotions

Eversheds has made up 18 partners, bringing its total to 342, in the latest round of internal partner appointments.

Six of the new partners are women, which brings the total number of female partners at the firm to 60.

The greatest growth has taken place in the property and litigation departments, according to the firm.

The new partners are Simon Owen (banking), Melanie Pears (commercial), Iain Young (corporate), Stephen Berry (corporate finance), Jayne Corr (education), Claire Rankin (employment), Joanna Berry (IT/IP), Stephen Barker (litigation), Ian Gray (litigation), Susan Howe (litigation), Lee Ranson (litigation), Nefydd Jones (property), William Naunton (property), Julie Stobart (property), Stephen Manson (property), Christopher Jobson (shipping), Michael Mousdale (tax), and David Jervis (tax).

Cameron McKenna has appointed nine new internal partners. In London they are David Bresnick (corporate), Maxine Cupitt (insurance and reinsurance), Mark Grant (pensions), Robert Hickmott (corporate recovery), and Chris Southorn (corporate).

Peter Wiltshire (corporate recovery) has been made up in the Bristol office.

The firm's new overseas partners are Janusz Adamkowski (Warsaw), Andrzej Blach (Warsaw) and Istvan Kovari (Budapest).

Charles Russell has seven new internal partners, bringing its total to 76. They are Lisa Mayhew (employment), Diane Preston (pensions- employment group), Harriet Wait (family), Barbara Kerin (commercial property), Bart Peerless (private client), Andrew Slatter (private client), and Michael Calvert (pensions- employment group).

Irwin Mitchell has made four new partner promotions to its corporate services, personal injury and family law departments. This brings its total number of partners up to 76.

In Sheffield, Andrew Lockley leads Irwin Mitchell's work on professional services and administrative law. He is joined by newly appointed Danny Revitt (property litigation).

In Birmingham, Jonathan Peacock (personal injury) has been made a partner. Meanwhile, in the firm's Leeds office Louise Walker (family) has been appointed.

Kennedys has made up one partner. Mariel Irvine (litigation) brings the total number of partners up to 45.
