  • I imagine that Winns Solicitors is a far slicker outfit.

  • The DD's PR team on form again, so many stupid comments looks silly and a bit desperate.

  • Re Anonymous 09.31 - Given that John Flynn left Dickinson Dees some two years before the merger, it would have been a strange move to elect him managing partner of the merged firm.

  • If Bond Dickinson saw you at the gym, they would come over and tell you that they can bench more than you.

  • Re: Anonymous 16:28,

If John Flynn had been given the reigns of Dickinson Dees they wouldn't have needed a merger. He was a genius and loved his staff.

  • Bond Dickinson has many leather bound books and the offices smell of rich mahogany.

  • If you spell Bond Dickinson wrong when searching in Google, it doesn't offer you the correct spelling. It says "Give in whilst there is still time."

  • If Bond Dickinson were a man, he would have a voice that would make a wolverine purr and a suit that makes Frank Sinatra look like a hobo.

  • What all the lawyers that mock Bond Dickinson need to know is that there is no top 50 list of law firms in the Uk. There's just a list of other firms that Bond Dickinson allows to exist. That tolerance won't last forever.

  • Can I ask what I've missed in terms of the DD/BD negativity? As an in-house lawyer, I've used DD for a few years in various areas and have always been satisfied with the service provided and rates paid. Yes there have been a few minor issues in the past but nothing critical which has made me think to stop using them. We have also used Eversheds, DLA, BLP and CC and I have never felt that the service I was getting at DD was worse than what I was receiving elsewhere. It made sense to use them as the rates have always been good. I'm just wondering reading these various DD and BD articles where all the negativity comes from and if there is anything clients should specifically know about which may affect their judgment to instruct them. I see a lot of negative comments and assume there must be a cause for it but I'm just not sure what that cause is.
