Being the chief information officer (CIO) of a law firm is no piece of cake. So it’s no surprise that the former CIO of Freshfields Bruckhaus DeringerPaul Domnick caught the eye of software and risk management company Litéra.
We can imagine the interview. As Freshfields’ CIO he headed up the firm’s IT offering across its 27 offices, having already been chief technology officer for Zurich Financial Services and held a number of senior roles at Deutsche Bank and BNP Paribas. He was even willing to make the transatlantic leap from Switzerland to North Carolina for the job. Presidency it is, Litéra said.
Meanwhile Domnick is continuing to provide advice to Freshfields’ current CIO Richard Harris, the magic circle firm’s former head of IT services who was promoted in November.
