  • The loss of Kem is the first audible death knell for the PE practice. The PR spin is desparate! Rebranding partners whose practice is not primarily PE as PE heavyweights won't fool anyone. The problem with the team is that the "golden talent" that led the way in the "golden era" of PE never grew successors and handled the baton passing of relationships badly. Kem was made up in 2007 and for a business their size it was criminal that no new partners were created. They are now paying the price with the flow of talent damaging what should have been an institutionalised second/third generation business by now. It is not and the clients are walking with the partners and also independantly. A real shame and sad to see the legacy wasted
