Ashok Ghosh becomes latest London departure for Altheimer & Gray

Altheimer & Gray has lost its third senior finance lawyer in the space of five months.

Project finance specialist Ashok Ghosh will join Beachcroft Wansbroughs as a partner in January 2002, when he has served his notice period.

Ghosh’s departure follows that of corporate banking partner Brian Rutherford, who left the firm five months ago, and senior project finance associate Cathy Harris, who left last month. Both Rutherford and Harris joined Osborne
Clarke.

Ghosh has particular expertise in the rail industry, advising banks, consortia, public sector bodies, construction companies and FM providers in PFI and PPP transactions. Ghosh expects to take some clients with him.

Ghosh joined Altheimer as part of a seven-lawyer team from Barnett Alexander & Chart in October 2000. Prior to that Ghosh was at DLA, and had also worked inhouse at London Transport.
