A dispute over the contract for installation of a cargo handling system at Heathrow Airport is heading for the High Court. British Airways is being sued by Alstrom UK and Alstrom Automation for alleged breach of contract. Alstrom claim it was contracted to design, supervise and install the system at Heathrow, but that BA repudiated its contract. It seeks a declaration that BA has wrongfully repudiated its contract, a reasonable sum for work carried out, and damages for breach of contract. Alstrom is represented by Lovell White Durrant.
