This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld has promoted seven lawyers to its global partnership with one in London.
The London lawyer is corporate specialist Harry Keegan, whose clients include Lucite International, Max Petroleum and VimpelCom.
The six other promotions are: litigators Matthew Bate (Geneva) and Estela Díaz (New York); investment funds specialist Jeremy Berry (Washington, DC); real estate lawyer Joseph Friedman (Los Angeles); IP specialist Eric Klein (Dallas); and international trade lawyer Tamer Soliman (Abu Dhabi).
The promotions are effective from 1 January.
Bruce McLean, Akin Gump’s chairman, said the lawyers had demonstrated “an unwavering commitment to their clients, their colleagues and the practice of law itself”.
