Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld today (Friday 14 November) announced the promotion of 15 of its lawyers to the partnership, effective 1 January, 2009.
The new partners include London-based investment funds lawyer, Robert Griffin. Elsewhere the new partners are all based in the US with the exception of corporate lawyers Andrei Danilov in Moscow and Natasha Kohne in Abu Dhabi.
Bruce McLean, Akin Gump’s chair, said in a statement the firm was “very pleased” to welcome the lawyers into the partnership.
“Representing 10 offices and nine practice groups, these talented men and women have demonstrated their dedication and commitment to our clients and to our firm,” McLean added.
