  • It may be that English is not Ulrike Barth's mother tongue but surely any half-decent sub-editor would have removed the repeated (12 by my count) references to 'jacks of all trades' and replaced them with the less pejorative (and surely more idiomatic and meaningful) 'full-service' firms.
    And would it hurt to acknowledge at some point that CMS Hasche Sigle is part of the CMS group. I know the clue is in the name but, all the same, there seems to be a double standard operating that US-UK alliances retaining separate profit centres DO produce a single entity whereas alliances of European firms with separate profit centres DO NOT.

  • Even though CMS have turned over more than Hengeler Mueller, look at HM's RPL figure. Its nearly double CMS's. With far fewer equity partners, I suspect that HM will have the last laugh as they are rolling in the cash!
