Tulkinghorn has discovered an unlikely link between IP lawyers and adventure holidays taken while on gardening leave.

Following on from Allen & Overy IP litigator Nicola Dagg’s Wild West holiday, trademark specialist Georgy Evans raised the bar even further when moving from GlaxoSmthKline to Shell earlier this year.

Evans trekked across the wilds of deepest Zambia and Namibia, all the while being filmed by the BBC for its documentary Beyond Boundaries.

For all those with an interest in seeing lawyers put through extreme conditions in an African desert, Tulkinghorn recommends you switch on the television to BBC One on Sunday 1 October.

In some scenes you can just make out the trail of private practice lawyers that followed her, pitching for work.
