Cruz partner Nicholas Cruz is now a member of the chambers, which will receive cases from UK law firms and refer them to Cruz. The chambers will be paid commission for each referral, for which it has Bar Council approval.
ADR managing director Stephen Ward is keen to gain presences in China, Eastern Europe, Germany, Northern Ireland and the US, in addition to existing offices in Brussels, Dublin and Hong Kong. He has been in discussions with firms in these territories to discuss forwarding cases to the set’s local offices.
He is now close to setting up an alliance with a Bermudian firm, and talks are also being advanced in Canada, France, Ireland, Norway and Scotland.
Piper Rudnick gains Boston presence
