Addleshaw Goddard has hired a White & Case partner in a bid to grow its trade and commodity expertise.
Claire Denison will join as a partner on 1 February 2010, bringing with her more than two decades of experience advising lenders, sponsors and investment funds while at White & Case and before that as a partner at DLA Piper.
Head of Addleshaws’ 30-partner finance and projects division Richard Papworth said: “Claire’s versatility, particularly in the way she’s built a trade and commodity practice, is critical in the current climate and this is a specialist niche we’ll be looking to exploit.”
A spokesperson at White & Case said: “We can confirm that Claire is leaving to join Addleshaw Goddard and will leave at the end of the year. We wish her well for the future”.
Denison was unavailable for comment.
