Addleshaw Goddard has appointed partner Philip Goodstone as divisional managing partner in charge of the firm’s corporate group.
Goodstone will replace Andrew Rosling, who has been in the position for two years and who will now return to full-time fee-earning.
“As well as consolidating in Leeds and Manchester, I want to focus on growth in London,” said Goodstone. “We’ve managed to deliver some growth in a difficult market this year and things have really started to pick up over the past four months.”
In a statement, managing partner Paul Devitt said: “The continued development of our corporate division is critical in the context of our strategic goals.”
Goodstone, who has been at Addleshaws for 14 years and a corporate partner for 11, said he intends to maintain his client practice.
