The Lawyer Global Litigation Top 50 report is the only ranking of international law firms by litigation and arbitration revenue and is essential reading for anyone seeking to benchmark their litigation and dispute resolution practices...
This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
Addleshaw Goddard’s former litigation chief Simon Twigden is set to leave the firm at the end of the month, taking partners Pietro Marino and Michael Green with him.
Twigden and Marino announced in April that they were quitting the firm after announcing plans to set up a claimant boutique (23 April 2010).
The move came after Twigden missed out on the firm’s newly created chairman position, which went to litigation partner Monica Burch (5 April 2010).
The trio will leave to set up Enyo Law with eight Addleshaws fee-earners.
Richard Leedham, who was appointed to succeed Twigden, said: “We respect their decision to pursue another opportunity outside our firm which they feel will be better suited to their professional aspirations and we wish them well.”
Twigden added: “Our decision to pursue a completely different opportunity reflects our belief that there’s space in the legal market for a firm with the requisite experience, resources and - increasingly - freedom to act in major business critical disputes.”
