BPP Law School School has managed to keep Addleshaw Goddard firmly on its client roster - after announcing it will continue to provide its Legal Practice Course (LPC) to all of the firms trainees until 2012.
The national law firm has been sending all of its LPC trainees exclusively to BPP to study a specially tailored course since 2007. As part of the deal students can choose to study at either one of BPPs Leeds, London or Manchester locations.
Dean of the Law School Peter Crisp told Lawyer2B.com: Weve developed a unique relationship that really benefits their trainees and enables the firm to align the trainees experience on the LPC with the firms internal training programme.
Addleshaws trainees will not be offered BPPs new fast-track course, which is only being offered to member firms of the City LPC consortium. Instead they will be sticking to the full-time programme.
In a radical move the Solicitors Regulation Authority has given BPP the green light to accelerate its specially tailored course for the City LPC consortium from 10 months to just seven-and-a-half months, as exclusively reported by this site last earlier this month.
