In one of its largest deals this year, Addleshaw Booth & Co has acted for Europe's largest manufacturer of kitchen interiors Nobia on its £123m acquisition of Magnet Group from Enodis.
Corporate partner Matthew Flinton led a team of 40 solicitors from the firm's Leeds and Manchester offices. The work was referred to Addleshaws by top-tier Swedish firm Vinge, one of Nobia's panel firms, and had to be completed in three months. The deal marks Nobia's continued European expansion and takes the group's annual turnover to around SKr10bn (£661.1m). The deal ran the gamut of practice areas, requiring considerable input from the Manchester-based property group. Flinton said: "It was a pleasure to work with Vinge and Nobia on this high-profile and complex transaction." A Clifford Chance team headed by Adam Signy advised Enodis.
