Addleshaw Goddard has hired former Dundas & Wilson banking and finance partner Rhodri Davies as a legal director in its London infrastructure and project finance practice.
Davies joins new divisional managing partner (finance and projects) Richard Papworth in the City role. Davies has 30 years’ experience in infrastructure, acquisition, and asset and structured finance.
Addleshaws’ projects group incorporates work in the health, education and social housing sectors. The firm has plans to expand into the urban regeneration, energy, waste and outsourcing areas.
The role of legal director was introduced at Addleshaws in 2002. The position is regarded as an alternative to partnership, with legal directors carrying out a supervisory or leadership role for more junior fee earners. They also manage relationships with key clients.
