Kent Phillips and Jamie Harrison will join the national firm as partners in the London office. The defections leave Winston with just three partners based in London.

Harrison was head of Winston’s UK litigation practice and Phillips was an arbitration partner.

London managing partner Thomas Benz said: “James and Kent have been valued friends and colleagues during their time at Winston and we wish them every success in their future endeavours.”

The firm’s arbitration practice focuses on cross border arbitration matters with Geneva managing partner Marc Palay working closely with the London team.

The hires come as Addleshaws strives to build up its disputes and arbitration practice.

The firm declined to comment on the hires.
