This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
The Linkson Fellowship aims to assist bright students from low-income families and underprivileged backgrounds to obtain internships with professional service organisations, including law firms.
The charity is also working with universities to find ways to identify these youngsters during the university admissions process.
The participating firms will each take one student for a two-week internship. If successful, the summer intake for the scheme will be widened to up to three students in 2007.
A spokesman for Addleshaws said: "Making available this opportunity will not only allow the young person to get an insight into a career they might not have had information about, but also provide them with an experience that they can trade on to get into a good university and future employment."
The charity has identified 85 candidates from the London Borough of Redbridge predicted to attain at least one 'A' and two 'Bs' at A-level.
