Addleshaw Goddard has made up six new partners in its annual round of promotions.
The firm made up the same number in 2011, while in 2010 it was slightly lower, at five. Of this year’s batch, four are based in London, while the others work out of the firm’s regional offices in Leeds and Manchester.
In terms of practice areas, litigation and real estate saw the highest number of promotions with two each, while commercial services and asset finance also got a look in.
Litigation lawyers Emma Armitage and Maxine Davies, who specialise in IP and finance disputes, respectively, real estate specialist Tony Norris, and commercial services lawyer Anna Rodbourne were all made up in London. Ian Smith, a real estate lawyer, was made up in the firm’s Leeds office, while in Manchester asset finance specialist Rebecca Williams made partner.
In a statement, senior partner Monica Burch said: “The calibre of our partnership candidates was extremely high, and each of our new partners will enhance our business both in their practice areas and across the firm.
“The promotion of six new partners is evidence of our ongoing commitment to invest in and develop talented individuals.”
