Addleshaw Goddard is aiming to strengthen its London projects practice with the addition of a new partner.
Richard Guit will boost the number of partners in the City group to seven when he moves to Addleshaw Goddard from CMS Cameron McKenna in June. Nationally the firm has 10 full time PFI and projects partners.
The UK projects practice is one of three areas in the City identified for growth by managing partner Mark Jones.
“London will constitute a significant percentage of our growth over the next five years,” said Jones, adding that the firm’s target was to be a top 15 firm by 2009.
“We need to be significantly bigger and are currently looking to bolster the London practice in banking, projects and property.” he said.
The London projects team was also recently boosted by the move across from the corporate of partner Sandra Humphrey earlier this month.
