The London office of US firm LeBoeuf Lamb Greene & MacRae has hired Baker & McKenzie capital markets senior associate Federico Salinas as a partner.
The hire follows that of Dewey Ballantine's London-based capital markets rainmaker Camille Abousleiman, who joined as the firm's London head of capital markets in January (The Lawyer, 21 January).
Abousleiman joined with capital markets colleague Louise Roman Bernstein. Both specialise in emerging markets.
Salinas represents issuers and banks on global offerings of equity and debt securities and is dual-qualified in UK and US law.
His principal focus in recent years has been Middle Eastern and Eastern European securities offerings, typically involving dual listings.
LeBoeuf chairman Steven Davis said: "Federico’s a great addition to our growing capital markets team in London. He gives us further strength and depth of expertise for providing advice to our clients in this area."
