A&O rejigs Asian US law group as partner quits

Allen & Overy (A&O) is shoring up its US law group in Asia, which has lost initial public offering and securities partner Peter Curley, who is joining the Listing Unit of the Hong Kong Stock Exchanges and Clearing Limited as senior vice-president. London-based US law partner Thomas Jones will relocate to the Hong Kong office to strengthen the practice. Curley established A&O's US securities practice in Asia in 1998.
