A legal system fit for the 21st century

  • My experience with the legal system is that it's not fit for purpose by a significant amount. I believe most disputes could be resolved in a matter of hours while they all take days if not months. Is theer any evidence that these protracted affairs improves the quality of the decision. I doubt it but the legal proffesion are paid based on how long it takes. I was amazed recently when lawyers went on strike becasue of the reduction in legal aid. Does anyone believe the strike was, as claimed, because of the loss of justice or was it the loss of fears.
