7BR, Peel Court CEOs set up LSA consultancy

Seven Bedford Row (7BR) chief executive Stephen Allen and Manchester-based Peel Court CEO Ian Dodd have left their respective chambers to set up the first Clementi-dedicated consultancy.

The duo has launched Clarity Legal Services to provide advice to barristers and solicitors who are sole practitioners and small-sized law firms in relation to how they can use the Legal Services Act to their advantage.

Allen, who was named in The Lawyer's Hot 100 for his Clementi innovation while at 7BR, said he wanted to be "at the vanguard of legal services reform".

"We've a number of large-scale projects underway which, if successful, could we hope really make a difference to the landscape of legal services," said Allen.

Both 7BR and Peel Court have not as yet appointed anyone to Allen and Dodd's old posts, but are in the process of recruiting their replacements.
