Common law set Seven Bedford Row has appointed its third chief executive in three years.
The set has brought on board Fay Gillot, a former Reed Smith director of European and Middle East operations. Prior to joining Reed Smith in October 2007, Gillot was director of office services at Lovells and oversaw the firm’s relocation to Atlantic House.
Gillot replaces Peter Rouse, who joined the set in May 2008, leaving in June 2009 to launch Bar Select, an online service that aims to help clients to source barristers.
Rouse took the baton from Stephen Allen, who left the set to launch legal broker Clarity Connect in late 2008.
Allen, who joined the set from Orange Broadband where he was managing director, replaced Robert Graham-Campbell, who has been with Maitland Chambers since January 2007.
