Top insolvency set 3/4 South Square has taken on two new associate members, bringing the total number of door tenants to 12.

Australian barrister John Sheehan SC is based in Sydney, where he specialises in insolvency and banking law. He also practises in competition law, which the set is looking to grow.

Sheehan will be available for referral work for 3/4 South Square’s UK clients. His addition to the set’s associate members means that it can now offer clients contacts in eight overseas jurisdictions, including the US, France and Germany.

Also joining 3/4 South Square is Oxford University professor William Swadling as an academic associate member. He specialises in restitution, personal property, land law, trusts, torts and constitutional and administrative law, and will bring additional non-advocacy expertise to the set.
