2 Harcourt Buildings snares second licensing silk

2 Harcourt Buildings has made its second silk hire in as many months by attracting licensing specialist Simon Mehigan QC.

Mehigan joins 2 Harcourt Buildings from 5 Paper Buildings. He specialises in licensing and regulatory law, with a particular focus in the gambling and gaming fields.

The hire comes two months after 2 Harcourt Buildings raided 3 Raymond Buildings for a four-barrister licensing team headed by Kevin de Haan QC.

2 Harcourt’s head Robin Purchas QC said Mehigan would reinforce the set’s capability in licensing law.
