2-3 Gray’s Inn Square has appointed the practice manager of Shell’s in-house legal department as its new chambers director.
Lynne Orsborn joined the set on Monday (9 January) after over four years at Shell, where she managed the legal department. Orsborn previously held similar roles at a number of City law firms including Nabarro Nathanson.
Orsborn told The Lawyer: “They’ve grown a lot and it looked like an opportunity to come in and help them carry on in the style they’ve been doing.”
She replaces former chambers director Lindsay Scott, who has become chief executive at Matrix Chambers. Matrix lost its founding chief executive Nick Martin to Bindman & Partners in September 2005.
