11 KBW hires 5 Paper Bldgs senior junior

Eldred Tabachnik QC and James Goudie QC’s leading employment set 11 King’s Bench Walk has poached senior junior Simon Devonshire from Richard King’s 5 Paper Buildings.

Highly rated employment and entertainment specialist Devonshire will join the chambers on 18 December.

Devonshire says: “I moved because 11 King’s Bench is a specialist employment law set and I hoped to prosper at a specialist employment set rather than at a public law set. Professionally, it was a very good move for me but I have been very happy at 5 Paper Buildings.”

Earlier this year, 11 King’s Bench recruited public and employment senior junior Tim Kerr from 4-5 Gray’s Inn, along with three other colleagues from the same chambers (The Lawyer, 11 September).

The mystery destination of fraud expert Antonio Bueno QC, who was at 5 Paper Buildings before moving to Littleton Chambers at the beginning of the year, (The Lawyer, 3 July) has finally been revealed. He joined Jean Ritchie QC’s 4 Paper Buildings on 1 December.
