Ford & Warren chose not to disclose its figures this year, but The Lawyer has estimated a 6 per cent dip in turnover, from £11.3m to £10.6m.
The Leeds-based firm is known for advising public sector clients, with a specific focus on health and education. It also has a focus on transport and insurance-related businesses.

Recent developments include managing ­partner Keith Hearn being appointed chair of the Primerus network. Ford & Warren’s ­relationship with this network of independent small and mid-sized law firms continues to ­provide the firm with its international focus.

Ford & Warren is active in the US and ­Canadian markets, with an affiliate office in Toronto, and it has been involved in several cross-border transactions. It also maintains a relationship with Chinese firm Zhonglun W&D, which has several offices in its native country, including in Beijing and Shanghai, as well as an office in London.

The management board is made up of Hearn, senior partner Peter McWilliams and two ­executive board members.
