Media, technology and entertainment firm Olswang has launched its own 150-page Web site.
The site includes a search engine, a glossary of legal terms and topics, biographies and photos of all lawyers at the firm, and links to clients' Web sites. It also has a "not just grey suits" section with an interactive map of Covent Garden, details of key tourist attractions, legal jokes and details of Olswang staff's unusual hobbies.
Simon Olswang, senior partner at the firm, said: "We were careful not to jump on the bandwagon in the early days to produce a Web site that had little value for clients. We've worked hard to develop one that is truly client friendly and has high-value information content.
"We have built an infrastructure to allow it to be undated regularly and to become a popular channel of communication with our clients and contacts."
The site was designed and built in conjunction with Epic Multimedia Group after a competitive pitch with six other Web site developers.
